The breakfast buffet offered a delightful variety of choices, including fresh croissants and fruits, making for a great start to the day.
The bathroom lacked attention to detail, as it could have been cleaner.

A rollercoaster of pros and cons
The hotel's perfect location allowed easy exploration of historical sites, and the fresh breakfast spread, including croissants and fruit, was delightful.

counldn't believe how draughty and cold my room was, but the absolute worst part was the thin duvet that felt more like a sheet. and the wet room? a horrendous design! I thought I might get upgraded for my troubles, but I guess being treated like everyone else is their new norm. so surprising, right?

Perfect spot for exploring!
The staff were super friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was a massive spread, seriously all you can eat. Our room was cozy and clean, but it was a bit chilly at times. The bar/lounge area would've been nice to grab a drink before heading out, but all in all, a solid stay!

The location was fantastic, making it easy to access the D-Day beaches and enjoy a stroll into town, which was rich with history.
The dinner buffet was pricey and not particularly impressive for the cost.

It was just an optimal selection for resting at all in Bayeux with outstanding value for money. The surprise was the chef's nightly specials that made dinner a delightful experience after long days of exploring. Make sure to ask for a first floor room if stairs are an issue.

There are a few quirks worth mentioning. for one, the in-room TV isn't internet-connected, so watching a series can turn into a full-on adventure if you're not fluent in French. The bathrooms, while functional, could really use more attention. Plus, if you're counting on a great temperature in your room, you might be disappointed, as the lack of air conditioning can make things uncomfortable during warmer nights. Oh, and don't expect a hopping bar scene. if you're looking for a pre-dinner drink, you'll have to venture into town as there's no on-site option for that.
